Each year, the GC&E Service Project brings together students, educators, and professionals for a hands‑on morning dedicated to environmental stewardship and community engagement. The project offers an opportunity to bring the conference’s mission to life: translating green chemistry and sustainability principles from the laboratory into the field.In partnership with local organizations in San Antonio, volunteers will participate in activities focused on restoration, pollution prevention, ecosystem support, and community-centered sustainability efforts. Whether planting, cleaning, or restoring natural spaces, or supporting local environmental initiatives, participants will contribute to meaningful and positive outcomes for the surrounding community.
