Daily Networking Breaks and Breakfasts
Networking is an important component of the GC&E Conference. Many attendees have noted that the conference is the perfect size to make new connections with a diverse group of people all focused on sustainable chemistry solutions. Take advantage of the daily breakfasts and twice-daily networking breaks to further you personal, professional and organizational goals. We also encourage attendees to visit the GC&E Expo during networking breaks.
Opening Night Award Ceremony Dinner

The Opening Night Award Ceremony dinner is a special occasion to recognize outstanding achievements in green chemistry. The ceremony will celebrate the GCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable awardees and educators shaping the future of sustainable chemistry, whose contributions drive innovation. Join us in honoring these exceptional individuals whose work is helping create a more sustainable future.

Catalyzing Change in Chemistry Education Luncheon

This discussion will feature faculty members who are driving systemic change in chemistry education through the Green Chemistry Commitment (GCC) at their institutions.
GC&E Poster Session & Reception
Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
The central GC&E Poster Session allows attendees to hear poster presenters share their research while enjoying snacks and beverages. Student presenters will be visited by Student Poster Competition judges during this time. The best student posters will be honored on Thursday morning before the keynote.


GC&E Start-Up Pitch Showcase

The GC&E Start-Up Pitch Competition showcases a few groundbreaking businesses developing green and sustainable technologies that have the potential to shape a carbon-negative and less toxic future. From advanced biomaterials to circular economy solutions, participating start-ups will pitch their innovations to a panel of experts, investors, and industry leaders, gaining valuable insights and potential financial support.
ACS GCI Industry Roundtable Poster Reception
